The review of telecommunication corporations
Everybody must know that one minute is composed of sixty seconds. But newly one of the IDT companies declared that a lot of corporations, which sell phone cards, propose only 36 seconds instead of 60. In concordance with the statement done by some IDT company, a lot of telephone card corporations are become a party in unjust rivalry. IDT/UTA (Union Telecard Alliance) corporation decided to sue the different corporations-providers of prepaid phone cards for the unfair competition circumstances on a phone services market.
According to IDT media research, some of their rivals just give 60 percent of the advertised minutes to the consumer. In November 2007 Total Call International, Inc. and IDT/UTA have received a complete resolution of the suit brought by IDT Telecom, Inc. and Union Telecard Alliance, LLC against Total Call. That brings to four the amount of defendant groups which have settled the litigation initiated by IDT/UTA before, this year. The other settling defendants today are Epana Networks, Inc., Dollar Phone Corp. and connected companies, and Locus Telecommunications, Inc. That incomplete action is still on approval in the federal tribunal in Newark, New Jersey. Not long ago, one of softswitch developers made public his advanced conditions of paying the phone services.
